CHEF B

Just Like You Used To

As we get older, sick days become more like sick-of-it days.  Sometimes eating like a kid again and getting a good taste of the good ol’ days can be the best medicine. Keep dinner easy when nothing feels easy.

“It seems increasingly important to leave ‘time for Being,’ where there is nothing to do, nowhere to go, and no one to be.”

- Soren Gordhamer

THE NOT-SO-COMPLICATED COOKBOOK FOR ONE OF ‘DEEZ DAYS

We are presenting the most complicated cookbook for our very complicated consumer.

Recipe #1 :

INGREDIENT LIST:

Chef Boyardee Ravioli + Spork

Oooolala what’s this? You found the secret sauce. Peel back our label and you’ll find a QR code. Scan it and voilà, Spotify. Each can has a song that lasts as long as it takes to heat up your meal to set the mood.

DJ, HEAT IT UP

The irony of using social media to tell you to get off of social media…

Do what you can to unplug and enjoy the day. Chef B understands that FOMO can keep us glued to our social media feeds on days that are meant to be relaxing for us.  Our tweets are reminders of little (or big) things that you might miss when you are absorbed in your phone.

TWITTER

Psychology Today claims that switching off your phone for an hour a day can boost your well-being. Since technology has hijacked our mental health days, Chef B is about to hijack technology. Press this ravioli button and it will shut down access to the internet for one hour.

UNPLUG & UNWIND

THE ART OF DOING NOTHING

You can tell everyone to take an hour away from their social media… but they won’t (especially if they don’t have one of our handy dandy ravioli buttons). Prepare for a one hour social media blackout. Instead of a mindless scroll, have a mindful sit. Maybe you’ll accidentally meditate. Maybe you’ll just be.

Chef B would like to thank Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Youtube, and Facebook for participating.

*Disclaimer: We didn’t ask for credit, they just did it for us.
